Adobe flash has a lot of cool opportunities and ideas, like making a button to make your story advance on through its pages or frames. To make a button, you first start out with making a shape, wether it be a circle or a square, it really doesn't matter. Then you right click on the shape and click "convert to symbol" and once you click that, make it a button. For every button you use, i would advise changing the instance name to button, button1, button2 etc. You also need to code the button to where it stops the frame when it pops up instead of it continuing on the project on its own. To code the button you type this in.
stop();
myButton.addEventListener(MouseEvent.CLICK, myButtonClick);
function myButtonClick(ev:MouseEvent):void
{
gotoAndPlay(2);
}
And then change the instance name "in this case" (myButton) every time you use another button.

Thoughts On Adobe Flash
This last week, our class had been working with adobe flash. In all honesty, i think it is a really cool program because of all the animations and stuff that you can do with it. This week we have been learning a bit more about the tools and commands of the programs.
We learned about how objects in frames work and how those objects wont be recorded into the frame when they aren't on stage. We also learned about how to change the color of the stage and how to add background details to our stage.

EXAM PHOTO EDIT
In this portion of my exam, I was to download a picture of a bee and a picture of a flower, I had to take the bee off of a separate photo and place it on the flower without a bee. I first started out by selecting the bee with the quick selection tool and selected all of the bee and some of the flower. After I finished selecting the bee, I went through and edited what all I had selected so that I only had the bee selected. I clicked "Edit" then "Copy" and then opened the picture of the flower and clicked "Edit" then "Paste" to get the bee on the flower. It took some adjusting, but I got the bee how I wanted it. I had to flip the selected bee horizontally and rotate it upwards. After my placing of the bee was totally complete, I lightly erased some of the surrounding edges of the bee to help blend it. I also used the Blur tool to help blur some edges around the photo to help with the realism.

Photo Assignment
This week we have been working on our photo assignment in class. There has been some difficult parts to this, but there were also some really easy parts.
The easiest part to me would have to be they greyscale photo because you just edit the mode and switch the photo to greyscale, but thats not all you do. You also had to edit the brightness and contrast of the photo and make it have more than just true black and true white. The photo should also have different shades of blacks (greys) and whites.
The most difficult part of this assignment has been the poster because I had a hard time thinking of a quote to go with the photo. It took me literally 15 minutes to think up a quote to go with my photo.

Favorite 2 Photos
I like this photo the most because it is very interesting, it focuses on the bark in front of the lens and blurs out the rest of the tree. The photo shows great detail and has a variety of color. It kind of reminds me of taking a nap under a tree and just looking up.
I like this photo a lot because it shows a variety of light, it is very dark and has deep colors around it, but in the right center, it has brightness and brighter colors.

Starting and Developing a Company
In the past two weeks, we started making our companies. To develop a company, it takes time and loads of effort on everyones part. Every person needs to work in unison and be compatible. Starting a company may seem easy, but I learned that it is a lot more difficult than you think. There are many key factors that tie into starting a company: coming up with time schedules, work efforts, devotion, ideas, etc. To me, it seemed like it would be simple. In reality, it is extremely complex and is very time consuming.
